Many years ago I was initiated into the
Craft of the Wise. By this single act of commitment, I joined a long line of
tradition that spans many hundred years.
Wisewomen have served their communities, despite persecution, up to and
including the present day. They have been available for consultation, for a fee
or trade, about all aspects of life using spells if necessary to help people
live fulfilled lives.
As a village wisewoman, I perform that function for my community, bearing in
mind that my 'village' has necessarily expanded to include the loss of community
in other areas.
Qualifications
I am a qualified nurse, a trained counsellor and hold an Honours Degree in
Theatre. My voluntary work includes being a Pagan Minister for my local
hospitals and a Trustee of CASPN (Cornwall Ancient Sites Protection
Network). I am Vice President of the Pagan Federation, and a member of
the Faith Response Team for the Emergency Planning Dept at Cornwall County
Council.
